From Glass Plate to Solid State™

Leonard’s has been a family of photographers since 1900. We’ve seen some pretty significant changes in the technological processes that drive our industry, but we’ve never wavered from our commitment to
customer-centered, personal service for each and every job.

Back at the beginning of the 20th century, photographic pioneer H.M. Tucker used glass plates for his negatives.
In 1947, Tucker’s son, Leonard R. Tucker Sr., worked with his wife Ruth to build a business providing photographic packages for schools. Since then, Leonard’s has continued to implement the latest photographic technologies, including digital capture and printing, to produce top quality, state-of-the-art images for our customers.
